Marketing Assistant
To help us continue our growth Union Street Media is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing
Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about marketing, technology, and the
real estate sector. The Marketing Assistant will support the marketing team in executing various campaigns,
managing content, and analyzing marketing performance to help drive Union Street Media’s continued
growth and success.
Reporting: The Marketing Assistant reports to the Senior Marketing Manager
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in the preparation and setup of digital marketing campaigns, including research, content
creation, keyword research, and website optimizations. Collaborate with the team to ensure all
necessary assets are ready for launch and aligned with the client’s goals. - Conduct thorough audits of campaigns after launch to ensure they are running as expected. Review
and report on key performance metrics, identify any discrepancies, and suggest immediate
adjustments to optimize performance. - Regularly monitor and optimize ongoing ad campaigns and content strategies based on performance
data. Implement changes to improve effectiveness. - Assist the marketing team in implementing and tracking progress on testing initiatives and use data to
determine performance success or areas for improvement. - Support the marketing team in scaling successful tests across the broader client portfolio. Help
document best practices and ensure that learnings from individual campaigns are applied across
multiple clients. - Handle inbound requests, addressing their marketing strategies and performance concerns.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues promptly. - Support the content and paid advertising strategists with optimization and strategy changes as
needed. - Proactively monitor and maintain account health. Identify low-performers and work with strategists
and Customer Success to make improvements. - Monitor overall performance trends and report on anomalies.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or relevant coursework
and internships).
● 1+ years of experience in a marketing role.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● Self-motivated individual with a passion for things digital marketing, technology and for providing
awesome customer experiences
● Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEMrush, Moat, Answer the
Public, and other digital marketing tactics.
● A high degree of organizational, problem solving and planning skills.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable educating clients and making
recommendations for their digital content and user experience
Compensation: Commensurate with experience. ($35-40k)
Schedule: Position is open immediately. This is a full-time position.
