Union Street Media has been exceptional in facilitating the redesign of Scribbles’ e-commerce site. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, so working with the USM staff is efficient and highly enjoyable. If we weren’t already working with them, we’d hire them again!

Scribbles is a popular downtown Burlington, Vermont stationery boutique with a long history of personalized customer service, community involvement, and the sale of cool stationery and fun tchotchkes. Union Street Media was challenged with increasing the scope of their current site, stimulating online shopping, improving interactivity, and boosting search engine placement. We also had to bring their lively community online while elevating the brand.

The USM design team brought the store up a notch with an elegant design, greater focus on Scribbles’ event and wedding expertise, and a general move from party kitch and comedic fun to personalized wedding invitations, baby announcements and business stationery. We also:

  • Repurposed the site with greater interactivity: online shopping, blog, improved browsing capabilities, and "share with a friend."
  • Kept it personal and fun with the addition of an “About Scribbles” video.
  • Trained Scribbles personnel on how to add information, and do their own SEO to keep things fresh and lively and placing well on Search Engine Results pages.
